Gerald Ford Bobblehead

Gerald R. Ford, the 38th President of the United States, was born July 14, 1913, in Omaha, Nebraska. When Vice President Spiro Agnew resigned in October 1973, President Richard Nixon nominated Ford to fill the vacancy. Ford was sworn in on December 6, after confirmation by Congress. Eight months later, Nixon resigned due to the Watergate scandal. Gerald Ford was sworn in as President on August 9, 1974.

Ford presided over the aftermath of Watergate, ended America’s involvement in Vietnam, and engaged in intense Cold War negotiations. At home, he began deregulating the economy, guiding America out of recession, as the nation celebrated its Bicentennial.

Still, Ford’s race in 1976 to earn the presidency by the ballot box was haunted by his pardoning of Richard Nixon, an act many Americans then opposed. Though Ford lost the election, he had done much to heal the nation, torn by a decade of political, social, and economic strife.

John Wayne WWII Bobblehead

John Wayne’s monumental film career spanned five decades. He appeared in more than 175 films, more than a dozen directed by John Ford
alone. For an entire generation, he was Hollywood’s biggest and most durable box-office star. Incredibly versatile, John Wayne starred in
just about every genre Hollywood offered: war movies, romantic comedies, police dramas, histories.

In 1979, John Wayne was awarded the Congressional Gold Medal. A year later, President Jimmy Carter awarded him the Presidential Medal of
Freedom, America’s highest civilian honor. John Wayne is among only a handful of individuals who have received both the Presidential Medal of Freedom
and the Congressional Gold Medal.

The John Wayne legend lives on to this day. John Wayne still appears in the Harris Poll’s annual listings of America’s favorite movie stars, ranking
second in the 2014 poll. He has the distinction of being the only actor to be on this list every year since 1994.

This remarkable Royal Bobbles John Wayne WWII bobblehead celebrates his many heroic roles in World War II films, and recognized the “Greatest Generation”.

Mike Rowe Bobblehead

Royal Bobbles is proud to have been chosen to produce a made-in-the-USA bobblehead for Mike Rowe.  Back in August 2014, Mike issued a challenge on his Facebook page, asking if there was any company in the US who could produce a made-in-the-USA bobblehead for him.  He wanted to have some bobbleheads made-in-the-USA that he could auction off to raise money for his nonprofit mikeroweWORKS foundation, which supports the skilled trades through scholarships.

We spoke up and told him that we thought we could do it.  And we did!  We agreed to produce a small limited-edition run of 100 Made-in-the-USA Mike Rowe bobbleheads.  It turned out to be a great success. Each one is individually hand-made and painted by Rachael and her team here in our Alpharetta Georgia office, and is hand-signed by Mike, and includes a postcard signed by the artists who made and painted it. 100% of the proceeds go toward the Foundation.  The first one sold at auction for over $8,000 and total funds raised to date have exceeded $23,000 for the Foundation.  These signed, made-in-the-USA bobbleheads are ONLY available via the foundation website at www.mikeroweWorks.com/bobblehead .

And then this experience was documented on Mike’s new show “Somebody’s Gotta Do It” on CNN.  Here is a clip from that show:

However, the project was so successful that many fans expressed an interest in having a more affordable version.  Warren asked if he could produce a separate version, under license, which:

  • Would be produced through the company’s normal channels, rather than completely Made-in-the-USA, and
  • Would not be signed by Mike or the artists, and
  • Would contribute 20% of the sales proceeds to directly support the nonprofit mikeroweWorks Foundation.

In this way, the bobbleheads can be made available at a reasonable price to fans who could not afford one of the exclusive Made-in-the-USA versions.

Statue of Liberty Bobblehead

The Statue of Liberty is a colossal neoclassical sculpture originally named La Liberté éclairant le monde (Liberty Enlightening the World). It was a gift from the people of France, inspired by professor and politician, Édouard de Laboulaye, to celebrate the perseverance of freedom and democracy in the United States.

Today, it is a symbol of American freedom.  This finely crafted Royal Bobbles bobblehead celebrates this American icon.
