Kona Ice Bobblehips

This cute Kona Ice doll is exceptional.  It is Kona the penguin, and he actually bobbles at the hips, in a true penguin side-to-side movement action.

Weird Al Yankovic Bobblehead

“Weird Al” Yankovic is a three-time Grammy Award winning musical parodist responsible for hit songs like “Amish Paradise,” “Eat It,” and “White & Nerdy.” He is undoubtedly the most successful comedy recording artist of all-time, with over 11 million albums sold worldwide. Having taken his first accordion lesson the day before his sixth birthday, Yankovic caught his big break in college after sending one of his recordings to the Dr. Demento Radio Show. The song, a parody of The Knack’s “My Sharona” called “My Bologna,” received a positive reaction and eventually earned him a sixth month recording contract from Capital Records.

Michelle Obama Bobblehead

Michelle LaVaughn Robinson Obama is the wife of the 44th and current President of the United States, Barack Obama, and First Lady of the United States. Above all, she is a mother to her two daughters, Malia and Sasha. As a public service advocate and style icon, she is recognized worldwide as a powerful role model for women.

Obama graduated cum laude from Princeton in 1985 with a B.A. in Sociology and received her J.D. from Harvard Law School in 1988. She joined the Chicago law firm Sidley & Austin, where she met the love of her life. Tasked with advising a young intern named Barack Obama, the two began dating shortly thereafter and were married October 3, 1992.

Driven by a passion for serving others, Obama transitioned to the public sector. In 1993, she became Executive Director for the Chicago office of Public Allies, an AmeriCorps program that prepares youth for public service. As Associate Dean of Student Services for the University of Chicago, Obama developed the university’s first community service program in 1996. She greatly improved volunteer efforts for the University of Chicago Medical Center in her role as Vice President of Community and External Affairs in 2005.

First Lady Obama remains persistent in her public service pursuit by focusing on current social concerns. In 2010, she introduced a campaign against childhood obesity known as Let’s Move!, emphasizing healthier school food, physical fitness, and the availability of healthy, affordable food in every part of the country. Together with Dr. Jill Biden, she launched Joining Forces in 2011 to raise awareness of military families’ unique employment, education, and wellness needs. Obama continues to encourage national service and is committed to helping working women balance their career and family lives, two issues near and dear to her heart.

Richard Nixon Bobblehead

Richard Nixon, the 37th President, was born on January 9, 1913, in a small farmhouse in Yorba Linda, California. He attended Whittier College and Duke University School of Law and then joined a local law firm. He and Patricia Ryan were married in 1940.

Nixon was elected president in 1968.   He was also re-elected in 1972 by a historic margin. While in office he established valuable relationships with China, the Soviet Union, and led peace processes in the Mideast.  He also established the EPA and brought about the peaceful desegregation of public schools in the South.  However, the central event of the Nixon Presidency was the Vietnam War.  In January 1973, the Paris Peace Accords were signed, ending U.S. military involvement and paving the way for the return of U.S. prisoners of war.  After the war ended, Nixon was charged with complicity in blocking the FBI’s investigation of the June 1972 Watergate break-in. He resigned on August 9, 1974, in connection with this incident.   Vice President Gerald R. Ford was sworn in as President the same day.

After his presidency, he and Mrs. Nixon returned to San Clemente, where they lived until 1980 when they moved to New York.  In retirement, President Nixon traveled throughout the world, visiting dozens of countries in Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Mideast.   His ten books, all bestsellers, include Six Crises (1962); his memoirs; and his last, Beyond Peace (May 1994).
