Abby Lee got her love for dance from her favorite dance mom – her mother, Maryen Lorrain who was a kind and warm instructor that encouraged Abby not to follow in her own footsteps but, to clear her own path. At just 14 years old, she started the Abby Lee Dance Company, and in 1990 she opened her own dance studio. Since then, she’s taught nearly 4,000 students. Known for her incredible dedication, discipline and passion, Abby is one of the most sought-after dance teachers in the country and has turned out countless Over-all High Score Winners, endless National Titles and an overwhelming amount of successful professional dancers.
